In close distance to Amaliada (1,5km) lies the byzantine monastery of Fragavila which currently operates at a boarding house for Elis archbishopric.

West of the village Trypiti, in a small valley, lay the ruins of the catholic monastery of Isova, one of the country’s most significant gothic monuments.
